Description

As the Head of Product Design & Front-End Developer at Tabdeal, I led the complete design and participated in the development of a large-scale agile cryptocurrency exchange tailored for users in the Middle East. Starting from scratch, as the first member joining after the co-founders, we crafted a platform that successfully scaled to over 4 million active users by combining data-driven insights with continuous user feedback. This wasn't just an experience, it was a career rocketship where I augmented my career from a pure technologist to a data-driven technical leader advocating testing new ideas and making rapid decisions based on concrete user data.

Key contributions as a Lead Front-end Developer

• Collaborated with Android developers to perform optimizations, reducing navigation time within the main user flow by 70% across Android app native and webview pages.

• Improved user navigation speed within the main flow by 80% by implementing a caching mechanism for key API requests and an updating mechanism to prevent errors.

• Streamlined both MVP and later stages development for various products and features, creating 65% of current company revenue share.

• Fully developed a new Telegram Mini App side-product using Nuxt 3 with an optimized API layer architecture, resulting in over 80% faster navigation speed compared to the cryptocurrency exchange product.

• Led front-end chapter in performance enhancement projects leading to a 60% reduction in bundle size and enhanced user experience.

• Full design of cryptocurrency exchange fintech product MVP and scale based on user data up to 4M+ users in the Middle East.

• Contribution to designing and implementing a comprehensive Design Language System with 40+ reusable components, ensuring visual consistency and building user trust across the platform.

• Growing and managing a team of 4 designers, setting clear OKRs to streamline workflows and deliver high-quality results efficiently.

• Leading agile design sprints focused on improving user funnels, which resulted in a 20%+ boost in conversion rates and significantly enhanced user satisfaction.

• Developing clear processes - both automated and manual - that reduced errors to zero and removed guesswork, such as a streamlined system for adding new cryptocurrencies.
